Return & Refund Policy
At BarelyThere®, we want you to be happy with your order. Because our products include freshly prepared chilled food and digital content, different return and cancellation rules apply depending on what you have purchased.
BarelyThere Wildcrafted Sea Moss Gel
Our Sea Moss Gel is a fresh, refrigerated and perishable food product. Because goods that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly are excluded from the usual change-of-mind cancellation right for distance purchases, we cannot accept returns simply because you have changed your mind once an order has been prepared or dispatched. This does not affect your statutory rights where a product is faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise not of satisfactory quality.
If your Sea Moss Gel arrives damaged, leaking, incorrectly supplied or in a condition that causes you concern, please contact us as soon as possible, ideally within 24 hours of delivery, at barely_there@outlook.com.
Please include:
- your order number
- a brief description of the issue
- clear photographs of the jar, packaging and any damage where possible
Please do not consume a product if you believe it may be damaged or unsafe.
Where there is a genuine problem with your order, we will assess the circumstances and offer an appropriate remedy, which may include a replacement or refund. Your statutory rights are not affected. Consumers have legal remedies where goods are faulty, including a right to reject qualifying faulty goods within the applicable statutory period.
If you need to cancel a Sea Moss Gel order before it has been prepared or dispatched, please contact us as quickly as possible. Where we are able to stop the order in time, we will cancel it and issue a refund.
Change of mind / personal preference
As BarelyThere Wildcrafted Sea Moss Gel is a fresh, chilled and perishable food product, we do not accept returns or offer refunds simply because you have changed your mind or because the flavour, texture or appearance is not to your personal preference. Natural variations may occur between batches.
We may, at our discretion, consider a goodwill resolution in exceptional circumstances. Any goodwill offered is separate from, and does not affect, your statutory rights.
If your product is damaged, faulty, incorrectly supplied, not as described or otherwise not of satisfactory quality, please contact us as soon as possible so we can put things right.
Food That Brings You Back – Digital Recipe Ebook
Our ebook is supplied as digital content and is made available for download immediately after purchase.
Where you have expressly agreed to receive the digital content immediately and acknowledged that you will lose your 14-day cancellation right once supply begins, you cannot cancel the purchase simply because you change your mind after the download has been made available. UK rules require both agreement to immediate supply and acknowledgement of the loss of the cancellation right.
If the ebook file is faulty, corrupted, cannot be accessed or does not match its description, please contact us at barely_there@outlook.com. We will work to restore access or provide a replacement file and, where required by law, provide the appropriate remedy. Digital content is covered by statutory consumer protections when it is faulty.
Returns
Please do not send any product back to us without contacting us first. Because our physical product is perishable, in many cases we may be able to resolve an issue using photographs and order information without asking you to return the product.
If a physical return is required, we will provide the appropriate return address and instructions directly. We will also tell you whether BarelyThere® or the customer is responsible for any return postage before anything is sent.
Refunds
If a refund is approved, it will be issued to the original payment method. We will confirm when the refund has been processed. Your bank or payment provider may then require additional time before the funds appear in your account.
Mixed orders
Where an order contains both Sea Moss Gel and the digital ebook, the policy applicable to each individual product will apply separately.
